Samppa acts as a Managing Partner of Pointer Search and in a dual role as a Partner at the Helsinki office of Odgers Berndtson, an affiliated company of Pointer Search. Samppa has worked in executive search since 2013 and has served clients across industry sectors. Prior to his move into executive search, he worked at Bain & Company in various roles advising industrial, energy, technology and consumer product companies on strategic, operational and organizational issues. Samppa began his career in the technology sector and he additionally has experience as an entrepreneur in the field of education. Samppa has a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics and Mathematics.
